Today we had our last day at training camp. We just played a game today and then we were good to go home. We won this game to and the score was 6-5. I had 3 goals and 1 assist today. One of them was on a penaltyshot. I´m so glad that I choosed to go here! I´m having such a great time. All the players , the coaches, everyone involved in our team are so nice and so funny. Every day that passes by keeps getting better and better to.

Me and jordan are going out to have a nice dinner now! Riding on our really good looking bikes;)

I just woke up and i´m lying on my bed! Today is the last day of the training camp and this morning we got to sleep in. It really is a fun camp and I just love all the guys. Everybody is so nice and so funny! Yesterday we played our third game and the score was 2-2. I had one assist, and I played well. I just got to shoot more! But I will, I just got to have patient.
Today we´re just having a game and that´s it. Then the tryout is over and our team gets official!
I can´t wait to thursday when we´re playing our first exhibition game.

Today or tomorrow I´m getting a phone so I´ll write my number here for those who want it.
I got to help Jordan with breakfast now so I´ll be back tonight my time.

Heeey! The internet at my Canadian home is not working. I do not know why but that is why I have not wrote anything the last day. We have had two games so far and we won them both. I got to score one goal at a penalty shot! So far I just love it here. I really do. I do not have much time to write now but I will write more as soon as our internet works again.

Today Mississauga Majors training camp started! It was really great to meet everybody in the team. they´re so funny and everybody is so nice. Today we had first physics. It´s a doctor who is just going threw your body to make sure there´s nothing wrong. Then we had fitness tests. We did alot of jumping stuff, we did bench, we did chin-ups and we did running!

There´s one guy in our team who got drafted by philladelphia flyers this summer, his name is Zac Rinaldo. Apparently he´s a fighter, but he´s a great great guy. The first thing he said to me today when we met was: Hey I´m Zac, if there´s anyone who´s messing with you,you come to me!

Tomorrow we´re going on the ice for the first time as a team this year and I´m looking forward to it. I´m pretty tired from the fitness tests we had today so I´ll probably fall asleep pretty soon. I´ll be back tomorrow though.

today I finally took care of my phone! I buyed a new simcard to it, but dumb as I am the phone that I have doesn´t work here in Canada so I kneed to buy a whole new phone!! anyway, today I went with James and took care of the simcard wich was useless anyway, then I went to the rink where I had an off ice work out and then a couple of guys from the team and me went on the ice and played for like two hours. I´ve had a good day and now I´m at home alone with Jordan who got here today! Dave and Barb went off to VEGAS this morning so we´re having a big fat party!... No we´re not, we´ll get up at 7 tomorrow morning because our training camp starts tomorrow at 8.15.

I would say I´m pretty lost here in mississauga. Everything looks the same for me. I´m lucky that Jordan´s with me because he knows his way around here.
I just have one question... Where is all the girls!?!? I haven´t seen one good looking girl since I got here. I guess I´m a little spoiled when it comes to girls as I am from Sweden. well hopefully I´ll find them soon;)

I have had a great day today and I will tell you why. I started this day with a great breakfast, then james picked me up and we went to get me an bank account. after that we went to the rink Hershey center where I got to meet my new headcoach Dave. I got my new equipment and also my helmet with wisir instead of cage as before. I also got to meet a team mate of mine.

everything feels very good right now and it would be weard if it didn't! everyone is so nice to me and it feels great to be here! although I miss my family!
But I am talking to them every day over mail so they seem a little bit closer

tomorrow Jordan gets here who also will stay here. It will be fun to live with a team mate I think!

tomorrow I will get a new number and a phone that will work all the way home to Sweden. So I can write it down here tomorrow so everybody knows where to call if you want to get in touch with me. Thats all for today and I'll be back tomorrow!

CANADA

I am sitting in Dave and Barbs (my buillets) house right now and my journey has begun. I have my own room with a big bed! I have been at the arena and it is awesome. I had dinner with the assistant coach and his wife, they were very nice to me and tomorrow me and him are going to by me a new selphone because mine does not work here in Canada. I had a good trip over here but it was long! Sammy the dog is not as dangerous as I thought he would be ;) haha..

It was hard saying good bye to the family this morning. I could not keep myself from crying and niether could them.
I will be back tomorrow!

Everything is taken care of and I just have to pack my bags with my clothes and stuff that I´ll bring with me to Mississauga wich I will do tomorrow, then I´m all set. only two days left in Sweden and strangely enough´so far I´m not nervous at all! Everything feels so good and I´m so ready to go:)! I´ve also got my buillets now, Dave and Barb. They seem to be very nice so I´m happy! I will also live with a team mate whos´name is Jordan.

Leaving on sunday! I´ll try to write something everyday and tell you how my life is over there.

Mississauga St.michaels Majors!

I´m Back home in Sweden now and with me I have a bronze medal from Ivan Hlinka cup. We won the last game in our group against Switzerland and finished at second place after Canada. We won the Switzerland game 10-2, I scored 2+1 and played really well with my linemates Jacob and Patrick.
Anyway we got to play the bronze game against Finland and won 3-2.
Canada won the gold medal against Russia in the final. I Finnished at fifth place in the scoring league with 4 goals and 1 assist in four games and I finished first in goal scoring league. Actually I didn´t get an assist that I should have against Switzerland so I scored six points but only got five.

On top of all this it was my birthday the 16th. 17 year old now! feels great;) and I have only five days left in Sweden before I leave for Mississauga :) awesome!

Finally I´ve found a computer so I can write about what has happened in Ivan Hlinka tournament so far.
We won the first game against Slovakia 6-5. We were the better team and Slovakia really didn´t had a chance. We could have scored three or four goals more but their keeper kept it close. I played with Magnus Pääjärvi and Martin Olsson and we had a good game. I scored two goals wich was fun. The other goals came from Patrick Cehlin, Jacob Josefson, John Norman and Anton Lander.

Yesterday we played against Canada and lost 4-3. It was a tight game but the Canadians won at last. I played against Cizika who I will play with in Mississauga. I´ll move next Sunday and I´m so excited!

Hey everyone! Not much has happened in the last few days. Today I had one off-ice practice and two on-ice practices. Patric Hornqvist was on a visit today and we were in the gym working out together before ice time. He is so funny!
I´m very focused to get in shape this week and I can feel it´s coming. Friday we will get together and saturday we´re leaving for bratislava.
It will be a great trip for sure.

I watched the Swedish U20 team today when they played their first game as a team this year against AIK. It ended up tie, 2-2. Oscar Moller scored both goals for Sweden. My friend Jacob got an assist in his first shift, Awesome! Sweden was the better team but they didn´t win after all.
I just got back from a great dinner with family, agents and 6 more players to say good bye to Nichlas Torp, Victor Hedman and Jacob Markstrom Who´s going to Lake placid tomorrow with the U20 team. I wish them best luck.

It´s only six days left, then we´re going with the U18 national team to Bratislava in Slovakia.
I can´t barely wait! And we´re coming for the gold medal for sure!

It´s on!

wow, yesterday my season started as I went on the ice for the first time with Djurgarden this summer. It was great! It felt really good to finally get on the ice and get ready for this season. I have same old equipment as last year so far. Everything is in Bauer/nike ofcourse. I´m still using the One 90 and the 4x sticks, perfect!

Can´t wait to go to missisauga! I´m counting the days ...
I´ve got to go for pracite now but I´ll be back soon!

Back at home!

Hi everybody. I´m back from the Minneapolis Octagon camp now and I had a great time! Me, patrick and jacob stayed at Shjon podeins´house. He is a formular stanley cup champion with Colorado Avalanche!

This week has been awesome! The Podeins´family took so good care of us and helped us with everything we kneeded all the time. There were a lot of people in their house last week. It was Shjon himself, his wife Sherry, his daughter anna, Shjon jr (Daniel) and Little buddy, the dog of the house. There was also a guy from phoenix, Colton, that stayed with us. he´s going to play for Fargo next year in the USHL.

anyway, we got there on monday afternoon so we went straight to the house, just packed up our stuff and got to know the house and the Podeins´ family.

Tuesday: It was a rough night to sleep because of the jetlag. so we were up early to have breakfast and then we went to play some basketball right around the block. After that we went to the icerink and we got to meet kevin who helped us the whole week and he was really great! He took care of the off-ice training. Our coach on the ice was Barry. He was specialized on power skating and he also worked with Tampa bay, Calgary and St.louis.

wendesday, thursday, friday were just practice and taking it easy at the house. except that we went to hooters with Kev!

saturday: we practiced as usual and we went off to Rochester our something to a blockparty. The place where Shjon grewed up. It was a lot of peaople there, most older people like in their 35-40s
But still we had a great time.
sunday: we woke up in Rochester and left pretty early to get home. we packed our stuff and went to the Mall Of America. It was huge. It had like five rolercoasters inside! I bought two hats and a pair of pants for me. One football jersey and a ball too for my little brother Tim :)
We were in the mall for a couple of hours before we had to leave to the airport.

I must say that I had a great time in Minneapolis and got to meet much new people that I hope I´ll see again! Colton for shooooooooooooooooooooooooow;)

Minneapolis

It´s very early in the morning here in Sweden. But I´m excited because me, Jacob and Patrick are going to Minneapolis for octagon camp! So we´re going to Usa.

I must say that I´m really looking forward to moving to Missisauga. I can´t wait!

Now it´s time to leave. I´m going to be there for one week, hopefully I have some time left to write to you guys in here.

Today I was on a goalie camp as a shooter. So I got a lot of time to work on my snipe. Patric Hornqvist was also there, for those who don´t know who he is so did he play for sweden last world cup and he´s going to nashville in september to make the team for this season. And I´m sure he will. Anyway we had a goal competition who scored most goals between me and Patric and guess who won;) After the ice me and Patric went to the gym and did some off-ice practice. He is a great hockeyplayer and a great guy!

Later today I went to see a movie "the hulk" with my man Arvid!! not the best movie but it was okay.
